Minister: No preferential 'quotas' for matric students entering public uni
PARLIAMENT | Higher Education Minister Mohamad Khaled Nordin today stressed there are no preferential “quotas” for placements in public universities through the matriculation system, as opposed to Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia holders.
In his winding-up speech of the Supply Bill 2024 committee stage debates, Khaled also said ongoing improvements are being made to the application system for placements in all public universities, polytechnics and public skills training institutes.
