Detainee in Langkawi jail died of pneumonia
The post-mortem report of a woman who died in police custody at the Langkawi district police headquarters in Kuah, Kedah on Dec 16, revealed that there were no traces of criminal injuries.
Bukit Aman Integrity and Compliance Department (Jips) director Azri Ahmad said doctors confirmed that the cause of death of the 34-year-old woman was due to pneumonia and was classified as sudden death.
