Checks show Sg Lembu pollution caused by duck farm, not pig

Checks at the village area of Sungai Lembu in Bukit Mertajam revealed that the pollution that affected Sungai Kulim and Sungai Air Merah in Kedah originated from a duck farm that was disposing of waste.

Penang Agrotechnology, Food Security and Cooperatives Development Committee chairperson Fahmi Zainol said further inspections by enforcement agencies yesterday found that the pollution was not from a pig farm in the vicinity as reported on Sunday.
