Elderly man to face obstruction trial in stray dog fracas

The Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) has rejected a representation by an elderly man for the withdrawal of a court case for alleged obstruction of a Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) officer in an operation to nab stray dogs early last year.

As a result, Patrick Khoo is set to face full trial over the obstruction charge, in spite of MBPJ having withdrawn its complaint against him late last year.
