Airlines can charge carbon levy starting April - Loke
Airlines can start charging a carbon levy once the amendments to the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Code of Conduct) Regulations 2018 have been finalised by the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) in April, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
He said the carbon levy is not collected by the government but by airlines to offset carbon emissions.
