Indonesian ministry reprimands Batik Air pilots for sleeping mid-flight

The commercial airline, Batik Air, has received a stern warning from the Indonesian Transport Ministry following an incident where both the pilot and co-pilot were asleep during a flight from Southeast Sulawesi to Jakarta recently.
The ministry’s civil aviation director-general M Kristi Endah Murni, in a statement, stated that a thorough investigation would ensue, with sanctions to be determined based on the findings of the investigative team.
