MOT to get feedback from authorities to boost security at airports

The Transport Ministry will seek the views of various parties, including the police and the National Security Council, to improve security at airports in the country.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said this includes a proposal for airports to be equipped with scanners to detect people carrying prohibited items such as firearms.
