Egg importer's suit: Azmin's 'nasty' comment spoiled my birthday - Deepak

Businessperson Deepak Jaikishan told the Kuala Lumpur High Court today that former minister Azmin Ali’s “dark and nasty” public statement against him had ruined his birthday last year.

Deepak was testifying as a witness for plaintiff J&E Advance Tech Sdn Bhd who is suing Azmin for defamation over the allegation that the company obtained a government contract to import eggs from India without open tender.
