Police summon five pro-Palestinian activists over protest at Mitec
Five pro-Palestinian activists were summoned to Sentul district police station today to have their statements recorded over a demonstration outside the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec) in Kuala Lumpur two weeks ago.
Their lawyer Rajesh Nagarajan confirmed that the five members of the Palestinian Solidarity Secretariat (SSP) and “Gegar Amerika” were called up over the gathering at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) and National Security (Natsec) Asia programme, which was held on May 7-9.
