113 individuals nabbed for suspected human trafficking

Police have arrested 113 individuals, locals and foreigners, suspected of being involved in human trafficking activities in 33 nationwide raids as part of Ops Mega Pintas.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (Intelligence/Operations) deputy director Fadil Marsus said that during the operation, 25 men, 26 women and 22 children were rescued, adding that the victims are Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar and Thai nationals.
