PARLIAMENT | A bill to control the spread of infectious diseases that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad once strongly opposed was put back on the table on Monday.
The bill to amend the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act (Act 342) has also sparked concerns in the medical fraternity, with the Malaysia Medical Association (MMA) among its critics.
