Chegubard remanded, cops probing how he got classified docs

The Putrajaya Magistrate’s Court this morning granted a two-day remand order against political activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin who is being investigated over his revelation of alleged corruption involving a navy official.

His lawyer Muhammad Rafique Rashid Ali confirmed this, saying the Bersatu information committee member, also known as Chegubard, is being investigated under Section 203A of the Penal Code, Section 8 of the Official Secrets Act 1972 (OSA), and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998...
