BNM's international reserves rise to US$115.9b
Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) international reserves rose to US$115.9 billion (RM507.36 billion) as of Aug 15, 2024, from US$114.7 billion as of July 31, 2024.
In a statement today, the central bank said the reserves position was sufficient to finance 5.4 months of imports of goods and services, and was 1.0 times the total short-term external debt.
