Airlines to give full refunds for flight delays of 5 hours or more
Airlines are required to offer consumers the option of a full refund for flight delays of five hours and more to passengers who do not wish to continue their journey effective Sept 2, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
He said this was among the new improvements in the Malaysian Aviation Consumer Protection Code 2016 (MACPC) implemented by the Transport Ministry through the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) which will be gazetted this September.
