1MDB suit: 'Jho Low transferred US$2.4m to Pharrell, Kim Kardashian'

The court was told today that fugitive businessperson Low Taek Jho used his shell company to funnel US$2.4 million (RM5.5 million) from 1MDB into the accounts of US celebrities Pharrell Williams and Kim Kardashian.

Financial fraud investigator Richard Templeman from the UK said his investigation revealed that 1MDB transferred US$1.03 billion (RM3.17 billion) for the benefit of Low, also known as Jho Low, via his company Good Star Ltd.
