Rosmah fails to recuse judge in RM1.5b luxury goods suit

Rosmah Mansor today failed in her bid to recuse High Court judge Adlin Abdul Majid from presiding over the US$346 million (RM1.5 billion) civil suit filed by 1MDB against her.

The suit by 1MDB and 10 other companies against the wife of jailed former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak was about the purchase of luxury goods totalling more than US$346 million, allegedly obtained through the misappropriation of 1MDB funds.
