US charges man with attempted assassination of Trump

The suspect in an apparent attempt on former US president Donald Trump's life has been indicted on an attempted assassination charge, reported German Press Agency (dpa), quoting US authorities yesterday.

According to allegations in court documents, on Sept 15, a US Secret Service agent "saw what appeared to be a rifle poking out of the tree line" while Trump was playing at his golf course in Florida.
