'Labour law amendments reflect govt's commitment to CPTPP'
The amendments to four key labour laws in Malaysia show the government’s commitment to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), said the Human Resources Ministry.
The ministry’s secretary-general, Azman Mohd Yusof, said the amended laws include the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act 2020, the Trade Unions (Amendment) Act 2024, the Industrial Relations Regulations 2024 and the Trade Union Regulations 2024.
