Anwar: Middle East like 'morgue', no immediate political solution in sight
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim described the situation in the Middle East at the moment as resembling a morgue following the absence of a diplomatic solution to the ongoing conflict and atrocities in several parts of the Middle East.
He wondered which Middle East country would be targeted by Israel next, since the regime had already attacked the capital of Lebanon, Beirut and previously the area in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
“So far (the situation in the Middle East) has been likened to a morgue because we insist that the attack on the Gaza Strip be stopped, (but) the attack continues, and even expanded to Lebanon. After this what else?
