Elephant attack: Perhilitan to keep monitoring Kg Basung

The Department of Wildlife and National Parks Peninsular Malaysia (Perhilitan) will continue its monitoring in Kampung Basung, Kuala Berang, to track wild elephants believed to have caused the death of an elderly man yesterday.

Police confirmed that Musa Ahmad, 65, was attacked by a herd of wild elephants yesterday morning.
