UUM ranks 79th in QS Asia 2025, highest since 2015
Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) has continued its remarkable performance, securing 79th place this year, up from 101st last year, in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2025 announced this afternoon.
UUM vice-chancellor Prof Mohd Foad Sakdan said this achievement was driven by improvements in academic reputation indicators, reflecting global confidence in UUM’s contributions to academia, particularly in high-impact research, as well as its success in producing quality graduates.
