UN peacekeeping missions prepare for possible shutdown
United Nations peacekeeping missions globally are preparing for a possible shutdown on Thursday if the 193-member U.N. General Assembly is unable to agree on a new US$6 billion budget for the year to June 30, 2022, officials and diplomats said on Monday.
